Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you would be responsible for assisting in various ways with the successful implementation of digital marketing efforts for both our clients’ and the Evolve brand. The Coordinator plays a key role in helping to achieve our clients’ and our own brand goals & objectives. This position requires a professional, open-minded, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and naturally curious individual. You must be a critical thinker, problem solver and an awesome team player as well.

 

In this role, you’ll work with members of our team in various areas to create content and implement marketing techniques across multiple channels. You’ll be relied on to learn and combine your knowledge of the client objectives and our processes with your growing experience in the digital marketing industry to help our team provide effective recommendations and implement solutions. You would also assist in day-to-day project operations, including research, updating project documents, and working to carry out tasks for different types of projects.

 

Job Responsibilities

SEO

  • Assist with keyword research 
  • On-page activities: optimization of meta content, body copy, headers, images, etc.
  • Writing blog posts, proofing blog posts
  • Conduct site SEO audits, work with Content Specialist to review findings, create tasks, and implement updates
  • Assist with pulling reporting, reviewing & proofing as needed
  • Assist with monthly SEO checklists, reviewing issues/updates needed with Content Specialist

 

PPC

  • Assist with campaign onboarding documents
  • Support the PPC team with management of ad accounts in Google, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter
  • Assist with other campaign tasks and reviewing/proofing of documents as needed

 

Social Media Marketing

  • Helping to manage accounts in various social media platforms
  • Assisting with creating editorial calendars, writing post copy, proofing, and reviewing posts
  • Working in social scheduling platforms
  • Post engagement monitoring

 

Email Marketing

  • Helping in the process of creating and scheduling email campaigns
  • Gathering content ideas, working with Content Specialist
  • Writing copy, proofing/reviewing
  • Creating tracking URLs, reviewing, and testing emails

 

Misc.

  • Work to consciously provide consistent brand voice/tone for each client across any marketing initiatives
  • Proof and review documents and work for team members as needed
  • Research & staying up to date on tech/platform/tool changes and updates
  • Creating/updating process documents
  • Other duties as required with digital marketing programs in various areas: SEO, PPC, email, social media, as well as branding, print, and video efforts
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

 

Skills & Requirements

  • 1-2 years of work experience in digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred
  • Desire to learn and expand skills in SEM/SEO
  • Desire to learn and expand skills in PPC and social paid ad campaigns
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to gather data, strive to provide insight, and/or work with the team to analyze
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor marketing/consumer behavior, learning to apply to work efforts
  • Awesome writing skills
  • Solid math skills
  • Solid understanding of social media, content, and email marketing
  • Basic understanding of PPC and SEO principles
  • Knowledge and use of web analytics and online marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge working within a content management system
  • Fast learner: Self-motivated and able to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously
